Two grassroots, not for profit organizations
join together for an unique event.

Clubhouse of Suffolk is a not-for-profit psychiatric rehabilitation organization that was founded in 1990 by families of adults whose lives were disrupted by mental illness. This group sought to ensure that people whose lives were interrupted by these "no fault” illnesses could have opportunities to realize dreams and aspirations that, too often, such illnesses dampen. Our Mission is to assist people with psychiatric disabilities to lead healthy, productive and satisfying lives.

Peconic Baykeeper is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect and improve the aquatic ecosystems of the Peconic and South Shore estuaries of Long Island. We accomplish this by working to improve water quality and productivity in these ecosystems, emphasizing the intrinsic connection between our bays and our communities. ( www.peconicbaykeeper.org)

Join us for a fun & conscientious paddle to Iron Point in the Peconic Bay.

        Paddlers are encouraged to:

        • Pack in, pack out & pick up (debris from the water.)
        • Bring a reusable water bottle for us to fill.
        • Avoid nesting and marsh areas.
