Clubhouse members are adults ages 18-70 who have had interruptions in their work histories because of psychiatric disabilities. Our employment-directed programs utilize national evidence-based practice models in order help people in their recovery to return to productive, fulfilling roles in the community at a pace and with attention to disability disclosure decisions directed by you.
For people recovering from psychiatric disabilities, Clubhouse of Suffolk and Synergy Center offer:
- Work and career readiness assessment
- Benefits/Public Entitlements counseling with respect to employment
- Job-finding and job placement assistance
- Access to specific job training/skill development
- On-site/side-by-side or behind-the-scenes job coaching
- On-the-job assistance with facilitating workplace accommodations consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act
