Michael Stoltz, LCSW

Executive Director

Mike has served as the Executive Director of Clubhouse of Suffolk since its inception in 1990. Under his stewardship, the agency has grown from the $75,000 start-up grant awarded to the founding Board of Directors to an agency with nearly a $6 million annual budget with 85 employees serving over 1,200 persons each year through its Ronkonkoma and Riverhead facilities. For this leadership, he was awarded the Irvin Rutman Award as a outstanding Executive Director in 1998 and was recognized by Response of Suffolk County in 2005.

Mr. Stoltz completed his MSW from Adelphi University in 1982. Prior to his joining Clubhouse of Suffolk, he served as a Supervisor to develop and implement the Suffolk County Intensive Case Management Program. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops on topics such as recovery-oriented leadership, supervision, management, and system transformation.

Mr. Stoltz is a member and Past President of the Ronkonkoma Rotary, through which he is a Paul Harris Fellow, and is the co-founder of the Suffolk Coalition of Mental Health Service Providers which later merged with Nassau partners into the Long Island Coalition of Behavioral Health Service Providers. Mr. Stoltz serves on the Board of Directors for The Health and Welfare Council of Long Island and The Long Island Home/South Oaks Hospital and is an Adjunct Professor at Adelphi University School of Social Work where he teaches Social Welfare Policy and Human Service Management in the graduate program in Social Work. Mr. Stoltz maintains a private practice along with his wife Robin, also a Social Worker.
